Peter Flötner (c. 1490-1546) was a German sculptor, designer, and printmaker active in Nuremberg. He created ornamental designs, plaquettes, and decorative sculptures that helped introduce Italian Renaissance motifs to Northern European art. His Apollo Fountain in Nuremberg is among the first Renaissance fountains north of the Alps.
